Brass Prism Return Policy

If for some reason you’re not satisfied with your purchase, we will gladly accept returns! Returns are good for store credit only, with the exception of defective merchandise.

You have 14 DAYS after you receive the shipped item - OR - 14 days from when your package is READY to be picked up to contact us and to get the item back. If you wait a month to pick up your order, you're no longer in the return window and cannot initiate a return or exchange. Your return will be DENIED if it's not in our possession within 14 days.

Tags MUST be attached with all original tags. Items must be unwashed and unworn, void of deodorant, make-up, dog/pet hair/allergens, cigarette smoke, scented lotions and/or perfumes, dirt, tears, snags, etc. **Item must be in the same condition it was sent to you in. If any of these apply to your garment, your return will be denied.

Brass Prism is not responsible for any damage caused when not following the care instructions on the garment tag. (i.e. shrinkage, color changes/bleeding, loose threading, etc)

If you paid full price for an item, but it's on sale when you return it, you will only receive the sale amount as credit. Any items marked FINAL SALE cannot be returned. Any orders over 35% off are also FINAL sale and cannot be returned. Any BOGO items are FINAL sale and cannot be returned.

DEFECTS: Although we try to inspect each piece of clothing before sending it out, we are human and sometimes things get missed. If you happen to receive an item with a hole, snag, or any other damage, you will be offered a replacement piece if we have it - or - a full refund including your shipping cost!

Return Process:

ALL returns MUST be initiated by emailing us at bpbcustomerservice@gmail.com

You have 2 options for returning! You can drop off the return in the Return bin located inside the package pick-up room during store hours. The return MUST be in a bag with something with your name on it. Original packaging is best. Please, don't toss loose clothing into the bin with no protection. If your item was shipped and you’d like to ship it back, you will be responsible to pay shipping for the return. If you choose this option please notify us by email if you can when it's been dropped off so we know to watch for it.

** If you meet the above requirements, we will process your return within 4-5 days of receiving it back to us and apply credit to your account! If you happened to receive free shipping on that particular order, the exact dollar amount will be deducted from your return credit. We CANNOT issue a credit for an item we do not have back yet.

*** BPB is not responsible for any LOST or STOLEN packages. Once the item is out of our hands, we’ve done our part and the rest is out of our control. Even though I wish differently, there is nothing we can do beyond this point. If the post office loses a package, you will need to file a claim with them to get reimbursed. All packages that weigh over 1 lb are automatically insured. Anything weighing less is not. Accidental Purchases

If you accidentally purchase the same item twice, OR if you accidentally buy something you didn’t intend to and the order has been fulfilled on our end, you will receive store credit minus a 15% restocking fee.

***ANY item returned for this reason will apply.

If you catch the mistake before we pull the item, use our supplies, and take time to package it (all 3 combined), you won’t be charged the restocking fee and will be issued full credit for the purchase.

This seems to be a pretty common occurrence and I can’t afford the hits in processing fees by issuing refunds babes. Only credit will be given.

Some suggestions:

I’d highly recommend making sure the total makes sense before checking out. If you’re buying a $40 pair of shorts and your total is $80+ then there’s a very good chance something else in your cart.

If you’re unsure if you’ve purchased an item before, you can always go to brassprism.commentsold.com. Click on your account on the top right. Click the arrow next to “my account” and select “VIEW ORDERS” from the drop down menu. You can see all of your purchases right here! **If you’re unsure that your payment went through or want to confirm that the order processed, you can also do this right here.

Exchanges

We had no choice but to for online orders. I tried to keep this going as long as I could, but the amount of people taking advantage of us has exceeded what we can handle as a small business.

If you'd like a different size, we ask that you please email us to initiate a return as per policy. If the size you want is available at that time, we ask that you place a new order for that size and as soon as we get the return and are able to look it over, we will process your store credit. It's up to you if you'd like to wait until your credit is available to purchase the size you'd like. Keep in mind it could be sold out before your credit is processed.

It's a bummer we have to make this change, but it's necessary. Thank you so much for continuing to support small businesses and respecting our policies we have in place only to protect us. I promise there's a reason for all of it and we aren't just being unreasonable jerks. We appreciate you more than you'll ever know!
